Let us introduce ourselves
About NeuroGrove

NeuroGrove Speech was founded by Christine Scalise, a neurodivergent Speech-Language Pathologist, with a mission to create a space where individuals of all ages can learn, grow, and thrive. Christine's personal experience with neurodivergence inspires her approach, emphasizing confidence, authentic communication, and individualized support.
Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies, from the University of Central Florida, and her Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Northridge. She is passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, using multiple modalities to foster self-advocacy and effective communication.
Her experience spans children and adults in diverse settings, including Pediatric Prescribed Extended Care (PPEC) centers, public schools, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, home health, and private practice, across Florida, Nebraska, Iowa, California, and Texas. Christine views neurodiversity as a natural human variation to be embraced and strives to help families, educators, and clients understand communication differences and build stronger, meaningful relationships.
